If a "Home Run" model mitt seemes odd, it made perfect sense to cash in on the Babe's claim to fame. Reach Co.logo on the box along with illustrated images of Ruth in a fielder's stance (on box top) and his face under a Yankee cap on 2 sides. Box is red and tan with blue lettering. Inside is original packing paper and a Reach trade/retail price list for the 3 "Home Run" models: the catcher's mitt ($5 or $8 retail), baseman's mitt ($5), and fielder's gloves ($5 or $3.50). Box is pleasing G-VG.
