Featuring 24 undisturbed packs, this 1973 Topps 2nd series wax box has tight seals throughout with original roller marks clearly evident. Some of the bigger ticket cards in the series include: Thurman Munson, Jim Palmer, Harmon Killebrew, Frank Robinson, Carlton Fisk (2nd year), Rich "Goose" Gossage RC, Bob Gibson, Billy Williams, Joe Morgan, Jim "Catfish" Hunter and NOLAN RYAN. The cards in the 2nd Series are extremely difficult to find in top condition, and this their MINT cards command premium prices. Unopened material is highly desirable in today's market. Packs contain images of Steve Carlton and Oakland manager Dick Williams on the colorful red and yellow packs. Total of 24 ten card packs.

Addendum: This box is NOT a 4th Series box as stated in the catalog, and the description above has been re-written. This box is sourced from of a case of Series 2 wax boxes gifted to our consignor from one his student's fathers that worked for Topps in the 1970's. The boxes were given to students as rewards in class and over the years our consignor sold boxes to various card shops. He also opened multiple boxes himself. The packs which were opened, the boxes sold to the card store, and the ones he personally opened contained all second series cards. This is a 1973 Topps Baseball Series 2 box.
