"Black Takes The Count" Johnson-Jeffries Postcard
Rather comical and colorful rendering casts the two men as combatants in a vicious cock fight. The caption "Black takes the count, White the Victor" clearly indicates the postcard was printed prior to their July 4, 1910 match in Reno for the opposite occurred that afternoon in he desert. The specimen's bold color and strong graphics are framed by straight edges and nice corners, allowing it a grade of EX+.
