1890's-1950's Sports Photographs with Baseball and Cabinet Photos (11)

1890's-1950's Sports Photographs with Baseball and Cabinet Photos (11)

This is a great collection of cabinet photographs (11) which span from the 1890’s through the 1950’s. There are several team photographs which range in size from 5 x 7” to 7 x 9” to 8 x 10”, though matted on the cards they measure up to as large as 10 x 14”. The subject matter is primarily baseball teams though there is an image of a radio announcer, a fan catching a fly ball at a game and all American football player “Chuck” Morrison, flanked by two Hollywood starlets. The 1922 photo is of the St Paul Saints (probably several major league players), and there is a Giants and Braves photo of them in spring training. The overall condition of the lot is 40% VG and 60% EX due to minor age discoloration or fading, wrinkling and creasing, and edge wear and tear.
