1930s Purchase of Hank Greenberg Parody Letter

Parody letter from the 1930s penned by Waldo Shank, President of the Toledo Mud Hens, to Chales Briggs, owner of the Detroit Tigers. In the letter Shank says, "Chas, Paper + check went through today purchasing Greenberg," referring to legendary ballplayer Hank Greenberg. The letter is written on Toledo Baseball Club, Inc. stationery and measures 8.5x11". It is originally from Tigers files.
