1937 Cincinnati v. Kansas City Monarchs Program Signed by Hilton Smith & 1953 Kansas City Monarchs Flyer

Offered is a flyer from the Kansas City Monarchs games for the 1953 season (VG). Players listed on the flyer include the following players who eventually played in the Major Leagues: Ernie Banks, Elston Howard, Pat Scantlebury, Curtis Roberts & Frank Barnes. Also included is an Official 1937 Scorecard, scored in pencil from a game between the Cincinnati Tigers and Kansas City Monarchs. Autographed on the cover by Hall of Fame Negro League pitcher, Hilton Smith, honored by Baseball’s Veteran Committee who voted him into the Hall of Fame 18 years after his death, and 53 years after his playing days. Smith led the Negro Leagues in wins an unparalleled 5 times. Blue felt tip signature is slightly faded, but prominent, grading an “8” out of a possible 10. Program is VG-EX.
