Very rare boxing style poster originally created to advertise "The Biggest Show of Stars for '61." Poster reads, "The Forum Montreal. One Day Only. Two Shows. Sun. Sept. 17." Cardboard poster has "Globe Poster-Baltimore" at the bottom and additional "Printed In U.S.A." Colors are terrific. This outstanding event featured all the stars of the time including Brook Benton "Boll Weevil Song"; The Platters "I'll Never Smile Again"; Del Shannon "Hats Off To Larry"; Dee Clark "Raindrops"; The Drifters "Please Stay"; U.S. Bonds "Quarter to Three"; Gene McDaniels "A Tear"; The Jarmels "A Little Bit Of Soap"; Curtis Lee "Pretty Little Angel Eyes"; Phil Upchurch "You Can't Sit Down"; The Cleftones "Heart And Soul" and Harold Cromer as the M.C. Condition is great with no visible creases and only slight corner wear and some very mild toning. Chance of a lifetime to own a classic piece of music history. 24x30" framed.
