1969 Mad Magazine Fold-In Original Illustration Art

1969 Mad Magazine Fold-In Original Illustration Art

Fantastic gouache painting on board is the original artwork for the October, 1969 issue (#130) of Mad magazine, from the creative mind of legendary Mad magazine artist, Al Jaffee. Jaffee produced his first fold-in spread for MAD in 1964 and the feature was an immediate success. Each month, millions of readers would turn right away to the fold-in page to find out its message and suprise. The offered Jaffee original entitled, "What is Fast Becoming the Only Place to See Rare Vanishing Animals?" displays bold and brilliant paint in NRMT condition. Board is EX.
