Babe Siebert Collection

Babe Siebert Collection

This grim yet romantically tragic collection centers around the unfortunate and untimely 1939 death of Hall of Fame NHL star Babe Siebert, presented here in broken narrative with the personal items from the family of his mistress Audry McMorran. Icludes: 3 small photos of Siebert alone in a row boat and one with family or friends all at the lake in which he drowned. Also, two telegrams (EX, with folds), both addressed “McMorran,” one (1937) from Siebert and the other dated Aug 25, 1939 with the message, “Babe Siebert drowned this afternoon. Sybil.” Also a 1938 post (EX) from Versailles, France, written in his own hand to McMorran, with a signature graded at 9/10. Offered as well, a Christmas gift tag in black ink in Babe’s hand, signed by him “Gambini.” Very hard to find signature gradesw at 9/10.
