Rare stuff here: 1) First Japanese edition of The Babe Ruth Story by Bob Considine (1948) includes Bob Considine, and this classic bio was made into the William Bendix film. Great graphic softcover is ten times rarer than the U.S. version. 2) Fab small 1951 Japanese baseball trophy in cloth-lined original box. Elaborate piece for school team. 3-5) Three unused 1960s bolts of baseball fabric used to make kimonos, sporting logos for Hankyu Braves, Toei Flyers and Hiroshima Carp. 6) 1960s stadium giveaway or store piece devoted to Nagashima. Stadium fan picturing Nagashima lies on an unused bolt of fabric used to make a kimono. 7-10) Two early 1960s Seika Japanese baseball cigarette cards, in their two original packs.
