This white, road jersey worn by Kendrell Bell comes from his sensational rookie year with the Steelers. Taken in the second round of the 2001 draft, Bell made an immediate impact for Pittsburgh, garnering nine sacks and 70 tackles while starting in all 16 games for the team that year. His on-field exploits earned him AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, a second-team All-Pro selection, and a trip to the Pro Bowl. Bell would go on to spend three more years with the Steelers before a knee injury derailed his career. Bell's number "97" can be found sewn onto the front, back, and both shoulders, and his name appears in gold lettering on a name plate on back. A Reebok size 44 tag is located on the tail, with a "01-44" tag inside the collar. Bell's ferocity on the gridiron is evident in the jersey, as it has seen very nice use with two large team repairs to the right sleeve along with heavy abrasions and marks from hits. Photo-matched to November 25th, 2001 against the Tennessee Titans. Comes with LOA from Resolution Photomatching. All jerseys come directly from the Steelers archive and come with an LOA from the Steelers.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research
