Safety Will Allen played two stints with the Steelers and this white, road jersey was game worn during the first of those. An All-American while at Ohio State University, Allen was drafted in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and made his way to Pittsburgh in 2010. The Reebok jersey has Allen's number "26" sewn in black on the front, back, and both shoulders, and "ALLEN" appears in gold letters with black trim on a white name plate on the back. A tag inside the collar is missing but the jersey was originally made for the 2009 season, though it was a hold-over and not actually used until 2011. There are only two small team repairs and some light marks to speak of, and the sleeves have adjustable drawstrings. Photo-matched to the AFC Wild Card Game on January 8th, 2012. Comes with LOA from Resolution Photomatching. All jerseys come directly from the Steelers archive and come with an LOA from the Steelers.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research
