This rare, bumblebee style jersey comes from Steelers offensive lineman Mike Adams. The bumblebee style was initially unveiled in 1934 and then revived in 2012 as part of a celebration of the team's 80th anniversary. They were worn at least once a year until being retired again in 2016. Adams' number "76" appears on both front and back in white boxes with black outlines and lettering, while his name appears on the back in black on a gold name plate. A size 46 Nike tag can be found inside the collar with an adjoining "2012" tag. There are several team repairs, scuffs, and hit marks, and the sleeves' cuffs are cut to make them wider. The jersey was originally made for the 2012 season, but held-over and not actually used until 2015. All jerseys come directly from the Steelers archive and come with an LOA from the Steelers.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research
