This one-of-a-kind thank you letter written on White House stationary along with the original envelope is matted and framed to 13.5" x 17". Signed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, the letter thanks William R. Boyd of New York for sending pictures of President Roosevelt's visit to Tunis in 1943. President Roosevelt's trip to Tunis in 1943 that is mentioned in the letter was an overnight stop on the way to Cairo when Eisenhower was the Supreme Allied Commander of the North African Theatre. Dwight Eisenhower served as the 34th President (1953-1961). The signature is bold and signed with a fountain pen. The stamp on the envelope commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Nation's Capital.
