Jaques Yves Cousteau Signed Letter

Jacques-Yves Cousteau, commonly known as Jacques Cousteau, was a French naval officer, explorer, conservationist, filmmaker, innovator, scientist, photographer, author and researcher known as a marine biologist and conservationist. This letter is on Calypso Oceanographic Expedition Illustrated Letterhead and is by signed by Cousteau himself. The letter relates his underwater excavations of the Greco-Roman cargo vessel from 230 BC and his plans for the future. The signature is with a fountain pen at the bottom of the letter, going through his name. A strong signature, the letter itself is in VG condition with minimal edge tears.
