Judge Kennesaw Mountain Landis Photograph (1920's)

Judge Kennesaw Mountain Landis Photograph (1920's)

Kennesaw Mountain Landis is best remembered by sports enthusiasts as the man responsible for cleaning up baseball after the infamous Black Sox scandal as the newly created commissioner of Major League baseball. The 8 x 10” photograph dates from the 1920’s and does have a fair amount of creasing including a 1-2” crease that cuts across his forehead but, the edge wear is minimal and the tonal quality is excellent.
