An interesting piece of ink-on-stretched leather artwork created by Bill Ellis, a student from Notre Dame who most likely played at one time for the gridiron legend. Created in 1933 shortly following his tragic death during a plane crash and only three years removed from the close of his coaching career in which he posted an astonishing all-time winning percentage of .881 and six National Championships.
