Native Dancer Thoroughbred Collection (3)

Native Dancer Thoroughbred Collection (3)

Known as the “Grey Ghost”, Native Dancer won all but one of his 22 lifetime starts. The one loss resulted in losing his bid for the Triple Crown by a diminishing head in the Kentucky Derby. This collection consists of the following three exceptional and beautiful items. All are rare and in mint, unused condition. 1) Native Dancer custom silk purse was designed by Sarah Marr. In addition to the elegant craftsmanship, this specialty designer handbag sports the original colors of Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt. The handles are made of lightweight aluminum, and the items come in an attractive drawstring protective bag. Measures 9x13x3.5”. 2) Unframed gorgeous color print by A. Brewer Jr. of Native Dancer with jockey Eric Guerin standing left. Overall, dimensions are 14x20” with 11.5x14” image. 3) Limited edition plate (8.25” diameter) by Susie Morton produced by the Danbury Mint and trimmed in 23k gold. A COA accompanies the plate issued to the original owner, and numbered.
