One of the greatest hitting teams in baseball history, the 1925 Pittsburgh Pirates boasted no fewer than SEVEN .300 hitters in its lineup, with another one hitting a strong .298. This 24"-long championship pennant, complete with original Tassels, is a hard-to-come-by collectible and features outstanding color and a generic batter inside a giant baseball with "CHAMPIONS" above and "1925" below. The tip is a bit short and there are a few thin spots in the felt but grades EX and has great eye appeal. Pie Traynor's Pirates defeated Washington in the 1925 World Series, rallying from 3-1 down to take the title in seven games.
