Sporting Goods Trolley Sign

Vintage trolley advertisement was discovered in Detroit just before the 1998 demolition of the Hudson Building. A colorful poster measuring approximately 19 x 10" for G.W. Shroyer & Co. Sporting Goods Dealers of Dayton, Ohio which tout themselves as the "Largest Retailers and Jobbers in the West." The ad dates from 1903-1906 and depicts people playing golf, hunting on a small boat and playing baseball while a lady takes their photograph. Classic advertisement from a bygone era is matted and presented in a handsome frame. EX-MT.
