1960's Brenda Lee One-Of-A-Kind Marquee Sign

1960's Brenda Lee One-Of-A-Kind Marquee Sign

This gorgeous perennial design was made by Brenda Lee's people to follow her to various venues. It's made of heavy wooden material in 60s glitter and colors reflecting the pure entertainment glitz of the era. The letters and circa 1965 head shot are separate in nature, thickly layered on top of each other to accentuate depth. Colored sections are done in the same layered manner. Reads, "Now Appearing Brenda Lee...The Casual's...Van Smith Orchestra." Some color loss as this was probably toted around from show to show. In a way this is a poster, but it is better as this is a one-of-a-kind. The appearance in person exceeds the photographed image because the piece is 3-dimensional and pops! Was likely set up on a special easel in the lobby before the show due to wooden block back.
