1985 Pete Rose Limited Edition All-Time Hit Leader Gold Medallions (2)
Pair of one troy ounce gold medallions each come in original wood boxes with original recipients engraved on gold plaques. One commemorates hit #4193 and the other hit #4194. Front has an image of Rose with "Pete Rose, 1985" and back, "All Time Major League Hit Leader" with "4192" in the center. Bottom reads, "One Troy Oz .999 Fine Gold." Currently, each has an approximately $1,200 melt value per gold medallion ($2,400 value total). This can be perceived as a low of sorts what better form but to have a baseball coin. Up or down, you can love it.
