Baseball Pennant Collection With 1948 Boston Braves (4)
Vintage felt pennants from more than a half-century ago comprise this lot. The four flags commemorate the 1948 Boston Braves, who won the National League championship that season, an early 1950s Boston Red Sox Scroll Pennant that lists all 24 players on the roster, as well as the manager. It is in VG condition but for a couple of very small holes. There's a Houston Colt 45's pennant (EX-MT) that preceded the Astros nickname change, and a World War II pro-American pennant that reads: "PACK UP JAPAN - THE YANKS ARE COMING." It's in EX-MT condition.
