1880s Ohio Base Ball CdV w/ Beautiful Ring Bat

1880s Ohio Base Ball CdV w/ Beautiful Ring Bat

Outstanding CdV featuring an image of a beautifully dressed 19th Century baseball player posing with his most prized possession, his white ash "ring bat." Standing in well-fitting dark pants with Spalding belt, his bright white shirt compliments his figure as well the Harvard type boat cap sitting perfectly on his head. Although the bottom of the CdV appears to have been trimmed, the image has great contrast, wonderful subject matter and presents as outstanding. Originally produced by O.A. Dolph, Photographer, Rock Creek, Ohio. 2.5x4".
