1955 Cleveland Browns Signed and Painted Football
Gorgeous white football is half painted and signed in blue ink by over 30 members of the 1955 NFL Champion Cleveland Browns. The ball features club mascot “Brownie” the elf dressed in orange and brown and carrying a football next to the words “Cleveland Browns, Champs of 1955.” Above “Brownie” the ball is signed “To Billy Toth from Otto Graham and the…” which lead up to the team name. The final score of the championship game is noted in blue ink “1955 score-Browns 38, Rams 14. Hall of Fame signatures include Otto Graham (twice), Chuck Noll, Lou Groza, Paul Brown, Frank Gatski, Len Ford, Dante Lavelli and Mike McCormick. The ball is stamped, “Autographed by Otto Graham, F1457.” The ball is EX+ while the bold, clear signatures average an “8.5” out of a possible 10.
