1960's Santos Football Club Team Signed Photo with Pele
For Santistas everywhere, this very rare photo of members on the Santos Football Club has luminaries Pele’ and Pepe, and signatures from all eleven players pictured. Dated 1965 at the top, but we think it may be a few years earlier, and is representative of the peak years of this Brazilian team, which had just won two Intercontinental Cup titles (1962 and 63), and of Brazilian football (World Cup titles in '58 and '62), and includes a young Pele’ in his early 20’s. All signatures in vintage 9/10 blue ink. Promotional photo taken in Brazil has a one inch tear at the top that has been repaired and has been slightly trimmed at the edges.
