1971 President Gerald R Ford "Common Good" Signed Letter

In reply to a letter that was passed onto him, Gerald Ford writes this letter on Congressional stationary to a Mr. Thayer, thanking him and expressing his liking of a letter in support of President Nixon. In the letter Ford, points out a statement Thayer had made "...we must put away our own personal selfishness and disappointment and move shoulder to shoulder for the common good". Dated October 6, 1971 Ford signed in blue ink and this letter comes with an LOA from PSA
