In 1984, baseball officially became a demonstration sport for the first time in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. This great lot includes a selection from John Marzano's 1983-84 USA Olympic Baseball collection. It features game worn catcher's equipment including helmet, shin guards and chest protector. There are 10+ jackets, including denim and velour from 1984, with a handful from 1983 Pan-Am games. Also included is a 1984 Olympics traveling bag, game worn pants, and USA Flag given to Marzano, with visible wear.
