1985 Kapalua Butterfly Arlington Park Modesty Handicap Champagne Bucket Trophy
This handsome champagne bucket was awarded to Tom Gentry after his filly, Kapalua Butterfly, won the 1985 Modesty Handicap (G3). Traditionally run at Arlington Park, the Modesty Handicap was temporarily run at Hawthorne Park in 1985 after Arlington was destroyed by a fire. This silver-plated trophy is intricately adorned, features an engraved brass plate and measures 10” tall and 9” in diameter at its widest point.
