Gerald Ford Signed Letter with Gold Tournament Content
Great Gerald Ford signature on stationery with the presidential seal in gold. Letter dated August 30, 1977, seven months after Ford left office, praising Jim Murray column about a charity golf tourney. Amusingly, and a bit embarrassingly, Ford wrote that some of Murray's writings about him "pleased me and others provided a less desireable reaction" -- misspelling "desirable." Signature in blue ink is NRMT as is the 7 x 10" letter, w/2 light folds.
