Jim Craig Game Used Goalie Blocker Used in the 1980 "Miracle On Ice" Olympics
This fabulously important goalie blocker was made in Canada by Cooper, part of the regulation equipment used by Jim Craig to defend the United States against all opponents in all the games during "The Miracle on Ice." The outer layer is comprised of leather and canvas, and measures 16" long with a plastic insert inside. A great piece, well used and an important piece of defensive equipment integral in winning the "Miracle" games. This lot will come with signed Letter of Authenticity and Provenance from Jim Craig, himself. Estimate: $25,000-50,000.
