Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. is pictured in this news service photo from 1944. He was the eldest son of Joseph P. Kennedy, ambassador to Great Britain, and the brother of future president John F. Kennedy. This International News wire photo is 6 3/4” x 8 1/2” and is in EX-NRMT condition with only some creasing and slight surface marks. Lt. Kennedy is smiling broadly wearing his U.S.N.R. WWII jacket. This photo was taken on January 18, 1944, just seven months before his death on August 12, 1944.
