Vintage photograph picturing Hall of Fame first baseman Lou Gehrig. The fabled "Iron Horse" is captured taking a powerful swing on the sideline prior to a game at Yankee Stadium. Four Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with a handwritten pencil notation that reads "Lou Gehrig when he first joined Yankees - date of picture unknown." The photo (6.5x8.5") displays a few light creases. In Very Good to Excellent condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type II Authentic.
