Mario Lemieux Pittsburgh Penguins Practice Worn Jersey

Mario Lemieux Pittsburgh Penguins Practice Worn Jersey

Mario Lemieux was in the midst of leading the Pittsburgh Penguins to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 1991 and 1992 while he honed his craft with wearing this striking black practice jersey. Large skating penguin crest screened on the front with cracking throughout the logo which is customary with practice jerseys of this era. Maska Ultrafil tag in the collar with “66” written in black marker. Gold “66” screened on the back with light scuffs. Solid use on both sleeves with board burns and small un-repaired holes in the same patterns seen on Le Magnifique’s game jerseys of this era. Pilling inside both sleeves near the cuff and elbow areas. Fight strap sewn inside the back and CCM embroidered on the back hem. An awesome opportunity to own a piece of history that spanned two Stanley Cup seasons.
