Satchel Paige Negro League Game Used Baseball

Satchel Paige Negro League Game Used Baseball

Imagine someone fortunate enough to have witnessed the craft of the legendary Satchel Paige, the man stories are made of. Saving a ball from that game, inscribed with “Satchel Paige Kansas City Monarchs Baseball Oct. 1 ‘44” on one panel, "Leicester ‘Cool’ Moody K.C. Monarchs 1944 Pelican Stadium” on another. Such a piece is a sacred piece of history. From a game played towards the end of his career in the Negro Leagues. Some toning but all inscriptions are clearly legible.
