Yankee Stadium Straight-Back Seat
An authentic Yankee Stadium straight-back seat from the 1920's, solidly constructed of wood and cast iron, and entirely original. Paint is also the original blue, except at the upper portion of the iron which was damaged, and subsequently repaired and repainted. Seat number "2" appears on the top slat, and also is original. This superb free-standing seat is over eighty years old and shows its age in the expected ways. The paint is chipped and worn in spots, exposing bare metal, wood or green undercoat. Great overall appearance, and wonderful vintage character.
