1936 Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling I Full Ticket
On June 18, 1936, heavyweight contenders Joe Louis and Max Schmeling fought at Yankee Stadium looking to position themselves for a shot at the title. Louis came into the fight undefeated, but the wily veteran Schmeling prevailed, stopping Louis in the 12th round with an overhand right. Presented here is a full, unused ticket to the fight. The ticket pictures both fighters. In Excellent condition with no creases, stub firmly attached, clean front and back and only slight fading.
