This contract, signed in 1923 by August Herrmann, President of the Cincinnati Base Ball Club, promises to pay William Harris a whopping $450.00 per month to play for the Club during the 1924 season! Also includes a letter to Harris signed by Herrmann, noting Harris' $100 raise, and the original envelope in which the contract and letter were sent. Contract and letter in excellent condition; envelope a little worn around the edges, but in great condition with the postmark clearly legible.
