1914 Boston American League Baseball Club Stock Certificate
Superb piece of memorabilia from the pre-curse days of the Red Sox. This Stock Certificate in the amount of $100.00 was issued by the Boston American League Base-Ball Club on May 11, 1914. The 9" by 12" paper certificate is printed in orange and black ink, is signed by the Club President and Treasurer in black ink, and bears the corporate seal at the bottom. Over the center of the Certificate is "Cancelled December See new certificate #46" handwritten in black ink. The certificate is professionally matted and framed in a 12.5" x 15.5" black and gold frame. The certificate has three slight vertical creases from folding, otherwise EX.
