For the second year in a row, The Sporting News issued a 200-card set as a promotional tool for their newspaper. They included an extremely talented young pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, George Herman Ruth. Babe exhibits minor corner wear and is free of any creasing. Centered 65/35 L-R and virtually perfect centering T-B. Verso bears Gimbels store advertisement. Graded PSA 5 EX. One of only eight examples of Ruth ever graded by PSA.
