Two years after capturing the franchise's first-ever World Series crown, the 1928 St. Louis Cardinals were back in the Fall Classic, where they were swept by the Ruth and Gehrig Yankees. Here is the press pin disseminated to the media in St. Louis that postseason. It is NRMT with only some slight tarnishing on the back. There is a threaded post and maker's mark on the nut on the back from the St. Louis Button Company.
