1933 New York Yankee Team Signed Sheet With Ruth and Gehrig
Seventeen black fountain pen signatures fill the cream colored surface of this 4.5”x5.5” cut page courtesy of the 1933 New York Yankees. Highlighted by the marks of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, which grade 8.5/10 and 9/10 respectively, the list goes onto include Earle Combs, George Rensa, Joe Sewell, Joe Glenn, Sam Byrd, Bill Dudley, John Allen, Dan MacFayden, Eddie Farrell, Charlie Devens, Chas “Red” Ruffing, George Uhle, Frank Crosetti, Arthur Fletcher (retired) and Lyn Lary. All of them, with the exception of Eddie Farrell (lightly faded), boast rich color and flawless form deserving of a grade of 8/10. An unexpected addition appears in the form Philly reliever Cy Moore’s equally impressive autograph mixed in amongst those of the Bombers. The sheet itself displays minor adhesive remnants on the reverse side as a result of once being mounted.
