1946-49 Bobby Doerr Game Used Bat

1946-49 Bobby Doerr Game Used Bat

This game-used Louisville Slugger Hillerich & Bradsby model D2 baseball bat was used by Hall of Famer and former Red Sox second baseman Bobby Doerr between 1946 and 1949. Measuring 35" and weighing 34.2 ounces, this bat shows great use, including a crack approximately 14 inches from the knob. This crack was long-ago repaired by the use of six nails. Doerr later autographed the barrel of this bat in blue marker, with the signature reading "Bobby Doerr HOF 86." This item has been authenticated by PSA/DNA, and a sticker signifying this can be found on the end of the bat.
