1955 Cleveland Indians Game Worn Uniform
All original and in very nice condition, this home uniform has number 26 on the back and "R. Hooper" stitched in the collar of the jersey and waist band of the pants. Hooper did not play for the Indians during the 1955 season but was at spring training for the team. Sal Maglie wore number 26 for the Indians during the 1955 season so it is possible that Hooper wore this for spring training and then Maglie wore it during the regular season. It has "Indians" in red with blue outline on the front and Chief Wahoo patch on the left sleeve, Wilson size 44 and "1955" tagging on the front tail, as well as Wilson size 36 tagging in the pants along with "1955."
