1963 American League All Star Team Signed Baseball (PSA 7.5)

1963 American League All Star Team Signed Baseball (PSA 7.5)

Major League baseball returned to the single All-Star Game format in 1963 and the NL began a string of dominance that would last for eight straight years. The game belonged to the incomparable Willie Mays who always seemed to shine in these games even though they featured the elite of baseball. He only had one hit but he drove in and scored two runs. Add to that his two stolen bases and a spectacular grab in centerfield that robbed Joe Pepitone of an extra base hit and you’ll understand how he always had a way of making his presence felt. The game was also the 24th and final game for the great Stan Musial. Signatures on this official ball of the American League, signed by League President Joe Cronin, feature Hall of Famers Nellie Fox, Jim Bunning, Luis Aparicio, Brooks Robinson, Elston Howard, Al Kaline, Harmon Killebrew. No Mickey Mantle as he was sidelined by a fractured left foot. 23 signatures in total and they average 8/10 while ball is NRMT. All sigs in blue ballpoint. Comes with LOA.
