1966 Shelby Mustang GT-350H Jacket
Offered is this beautiful condition 1966 Hertz Sports Car Club jacket. This windbreaker was offered by Hertz and was used in its "Rent-A-Racer" program. Back in 1966 Ford made the special edition Shelby Mustang GT-350H that came with the Hertz exclusive black/gold paint job. These cars were only offered as rentals at Hertz dealers and the program was wildly popular. In conjunction with the "Rent-A-Racer" program, these not-often-seen jackets were made available to customers at Hertz rental agencies. This example appears to have never been worn and is in Excellent condition. Medium in size, this jacket is brightly colored, has the classic racing stripes and features the famous Hertz Sports Car Club Badge. This piece has an outstanding vintage look and oozes 1960s American Muscle Car culture.
