1970's Stan Mikita Game Worn Blackhawks Jersey

1970's Stan Mikita Game Worn Blackhawks Jersey

Arguably the most attractive hockey shirt of all time, the red Chicago Blackhawks uniform screams "Old Time Hockey"! Hall-of-Fame and 500 Goal Club member Stan Mikita wore this one midway through his award-filled career. The number "21" appears on the back and again on the sleeves below the embroidered tomahawks. This hammered dureen jersey from the very early 1970's shows no less than sixteen circular team repairs. Stan has signed the shirt twice, once on the chest and again on the back. The Gunzos tag is missing from the collar but the shape of the stitch outline is correct for the period. Included is the LOA from former Hawk's trainer Lou Varga and another from a previous owner who had Mikita examine the shirt and add "Game jersey, Stan Mikita" to the letter.
