1981 Pittsburgh Steelers Team Signed Football
Great team signed Steelers ball from '81 unites all the great names of the Steel Curtain dynasty that had begun to ebb. Though their 4 Super Bowl titles in the '70s were fading memories, the core of those teams was still mostly inact and, though aging fast, still managed to go 8-8 for Chuck Noll. That kind of pride and pluck is written all over this appropriately tough old pigskin, along with approx. 40 signatures including Bradshaw, Greene, Swann, Stallworth, Lambert, Ham, Greenwood, White, Banaszak, Courson, Peterson, Kolb, Stoudt, etc. All signatures in black marker, some light, others bold, averaging 7 out of 10. The Official NFL Wilson ball has the Pete Rozelle facsimile signature and is EX-MT with an even reddish-brown hue. Ideal for displaying.
