2000 New Jersey Devils Prince of Wales Trophy
A brilliant Prince of Wales Trophy presented to the 2000 champion New Jersey Devils for winning the Eastern Conference playoffs (against the Philadelphia Flyers), before moving onto and winning the Stanley Cup, beating the defending champs, the Dallas Stars in 6 games. The shimmering trophy stands around 13”, and has engraved on silver placard, “H.R.H., Prince of Wales Trophy’’, on front of wood base that anchors silver cup which rises from it. On back of base is another silver plate which reads “NHL Champions, New Jersey Devils, 1999-2000’’. In EX condition, and includes an ornamental and removable top. Also includes LOA from Devils’ employee it was presented to (name on request).
