Billy Martin High School Yearbook
Billy Martin Senior Yearbook 1946 Berkeley High School, Berkeley, CA. This yearbook is quite scarce due to a hard board cover and weak binding which caused many to deteriorate quite rapidly. Billy Martin is pictured with a great posed Senior Individual head photo as Alfred "Billy" Martin. He also is the subject of a GREAT cartoon which shows him arguing with an umpire; some things never change! He appears in a group shot of the "Circle B" lettermen and on the basketball team with his eyes closed. Perhaps his best photo is a candid taken in a section showing "Shops in Action" Immediately after graduation he left to join the Oakland Oaks and their manager Casey Stengel! The cover on this book is excellent, and the interior pages have no cutouts, no missing pages and most of the signings are confined to the inside covers and end pages. There is some foxing on a handful of pages and some very slight edge tears on one or two; however overall this is in great condition.<b> </b>
